In Nablus, soap making continues a tradition dating back 4500 years, using olive oil, water, and lye that is mixed, soaked and cooked slowly through a traditional process until converted to soap and no lye remains. Cooled and cured in chimney-shaped towers for up to 8 months, the process creates a refined, long-lasting, and pure bar. Famously healthy for all skin types, Nablus soap is often considered among the best in the world. Made available in the US thanks to the amazing folks at the Palestinian Soap Cooperative in Berkeley, CA. We're so humbled by the opportunity to stock this line.

The Two Keys imprint is made in the historic Touqan family workshop in Nablus. Their original factory, as well as their family company, is more than 800 years old and a famous institution of Palestine, located in the center of the old city of Nablus. The Two Keys imprint are the most locally famous, perhaps in part due to the generous size of their bars compared to other brands. The Two Keys' main market is in central Palestine in the areas around Nablus.
